Secure English/Spanish video interpretation for hearings, evaluations, and sensitive federal proceedings.
The Service
Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) delivers real-time interpretation via a secure video connection — providing the visual dimension that phone-based OPI cannot. In federal proceedings where non-verbal communication, facial expression, and signed language visibility are material to the proceeding, VRI is the preferred and often mandated delivery method.
Procuredex provides direct-contractor VRI services in English and Spanish for federal agencies, immigration courts, medical facilities under federal contract, and administrative hearing offices. Every engagement is handled by a cleared, credentialed professional — not a call center operator.
Courts and administrative bodies frequently require VRI when: (1) the proceeding is on the record and full comprehension must be verifiable; (2) the LEP individual has a hearing impairment requiring visual confirmation; (3) the interpreter must observe documents, exhibits, or physical demonstrations; or (4) agency policy mandates video for formal hearings. EOIR immigration courts increasingly specify VRI capability in their language services requirements.
Federal VRI Applications
Procuredex VRI is optimized for the high-stakes federal proceedings where visual context is non-negotiable.
